The Redland. Its my site I can do what I want. The Redland is on a constant mission to expand the boundaries of what we consider hip-hop. Thought provoking songs and ear pleasing music are a potent combination.
Bree D’val. She reps the ladies well. Her song writing skill, honest words, and great beats are much needed in a hip-hop climate which has recently failed in breaking female artist.
J Cole. Maybe a non New Yorker will bring east coast music back. Listening to J Cole you cant help but be reminded of the days where a rapper was judged on his skill and intellect, rather than jewelery and street cred.
Jay Electronica. Another rapper who is proving that lyricism is not confounded to any particular region. Hailing from New Orleans his skill and insight has the underground buzzing.
